Pack your bags for the adventure of a lifetime; join Nick Fucci Outdoor & Nature Photography on an exhilarating 14-day adventure photo safari into the wilds of Africa! Our 2017 safari will take us from the ”Sands of the Kalahari” in the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park in western South Africa to the world-renowned Kruger National Park along the countries eastern border with Mozambique.

The Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park is the combining of the Kalahari Gemsbok National Park in South Africa and Botswana’s Gemsbok National Park. Red dunes fading into the distance replaced by scrub and grasslands, herds of Gemsbok, Springbok and Eland and of course the famed Black-maned Lions of the Kalahari are waiting for you in this most remote portion of South Africa. The Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park is also a haven for birders, especially those seeking birds of prey.

At over 3.8 million acres the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park is a conservation area like few left in the world. Experience Africa 100 years ago!

After departing the Kgalagadi we’ll head to the Mafigeni Safari lodge and a couple days of relaxing. While at Mafigeni you’ll experience the Elephant Experience at Camp Jabulani, a Cheetah walk and visit to the Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre for a close encounter with many of the animals in the area before we head to Kruger National Park.

Once you’ve had a chance to relax and do a bit of editing of your images from the Kgalagadi, we’ll pack up and head to Kruger National Park. Over 4.9 million acres of unspoiled wild Africa. Kruger is a wildlife experience that ranks with the best in all of Africa with over 500 species of birds, some 147 species of mammals and countless reptiles and amphibians including the massive Nile Crocodile.

Kruger National Park is unrivaled in its diversity of its life forms and is by far the flagship of all national parks in South Africa.

Your Safari begins on October 18th, 2017 with your arrival in Johannesburg, South Africa were you’ll process through customs and immigrations before connecting to your flight to Upington, South Africa.
